A lifelong horse lover and dedicated rancher, Trycia didn’t just stumble into this lifestyle — she built it from the ground up. Driven by a deep respect for the land, animals, and the western way of life, she founded Wild West Ranch as a place where people could connect with nature, experience authentic ranch culture, and witness the magic of horses up close.

Originally from Southern Saskatchewan, Cassie grew up on a cattle/grain farm and has been surrounded by horses her entire life. When Cassie's daughter started riding at Wild West Ranch Alberta, they instantly felt right at home. Also a busy mom of three, and alongside her husband, Cassie helps run their family construction business. In her spare time, you’ll usually find Cassie playing taxi for her kids & their sports, exploring the mountains and enjoying family time!

Calista has been a part of the Wild West Ranch family for almost three years, helping with online bookings, emails, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. When not at the ranch, Calista works in health care in long term care & emergency, and enjoy spending time with all the horses at the ranch. Calista loves being part of a community that shares a passion for horses and the western lifestyle.
Gwen
Western Riding Coach
Gwen is a certified Western Riding Instructor with over eight years of experience teaching riders of all ages and skill levels across Canada. Passionate about horses since childhood, she is dedicated to building confident, knowledgeable riders while creating a fun, supportive, and encouraging learning environment.
Caitlin
Western Riding Coach
Caitlin has been passionate about horses since she was four years old and has experience in trail riding, 4-H, Pony Club, show jumping, dressage, and barrel racing. Since joining Wild West Ranch Alberta in 2025, she has loved helping riders grow in confidence while building friendships and enjoying every step of their riding journey. Outside the barn, Caitlin enjoys riding her horses, Rya and Veya, spending time with her dogs, and staying active at the gym.
Georgia
Western Riding Coach
Georgia has been with Wild West Ranch Alberta since 2022. She assists Trycia with a large majority of the barrel racing camps and lessons, while barrel racing herself. Georgia also has an extensive knowledge in hunter and show jumping.
