Horse Leasing

Looking for more saddle time and the opportunity to build a stronger
partnership with a horse? Our leasing program is designed to help riders
further develop their riding skills, horsemanship, confidence, and independence
while enjoying many of the benefits of horse ownership without the full
commitment and expense of owning a horse.

What is a Horse Lease?

Leasing a horse allows a rider to have designated riding days and increased
access to a horse while the horse remains owned and managed by Wild West Ranch
Alberta. Leasing provides riders with the opportunity to gain additional riding
experience, build a deeper connection with a horse, and take a more active role
in their horsemanship journey.

A lease is an excellent stepping stone for riders considering horse ownership
in the future or those simply wanting more time in the saddle.

Who Can Lease?
Horse leasing is available to:
Current Wild West Ranch Alberta students
Former Wild West Ranch Alberta students
Riders who demonstrate the ability to safely and responsibly handle and ride horses independently
Riders approved by ranch management and coaching staff

Not all horses are available for lease, and horse placement will be based on
rider ability, goals, and horse suitability.
