With over 20 years of experience around horses, Trycia brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to Wild West Ranch. Specializing in barrel racing, she also has a strong background in reining, liberty work, groundwork, and horsemanship. Her skills include colt starting, training problem horses, building solid foundations, and coaching riders of all levels and ages.
Trycia believes in teaching, not forcing—building a respectful partnership with each horse. To her, every horse is unique, and it's the trainer’s job to listen, adapt, and lead with understanding. She’s successfully developed multiple 1D and futurity horses, earning several buckles, four saddles, and much more throughout her career. Her thoughtful approach and love for learning continue to shape confident riders and happy horses.

Originally from Montreal, Eve is a certified zootherapist with over 10 years of management experience, including running her own company. She recently relocated to Cochrane and brings a strong background in working with children with special needs, as well as individuals living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. With 9 years of experience around horses, she has a deep connection to animals and therapeutic care.
At Wild West Ranch, Eve ensures smooth communication and oversees the well-being of day-to-day operations as our business continues to grow.

Shanie has been passionate about horses for as long as she can remember, and that passion shines through in her teaching. Her mission is to share that love with every student, creating a fun, slightly wild, and engaging environment where learning and laughter go hand in hand.
Nothing brings her more joy than seeing her students grow in confidence, build their skills, and connect deeply with these amazing animals.

Marie is a lifelong horse lover with roots that run deep in the equestrian world—there are even baby photos of her riding ponies! With a passion for team penning and trail riding, she brings a wealth of experience to the ranch. She’s also spent time on the chuckwagon circuit as a barn boss, an adventure she proudly calls one of the most rewarding of her life. She is also a childhood educator level 3.
Now based in Alberta, Marie is excited to share her love for horses and the western lifestyle with the Wild West Ranch community.

Georgia has been around horses and riding for most of their life. Over the past few years, they’ve developed a strong focus on barrel racing, actively competing and continuing to grow in the sport. With a background in hunter-jumpers as well, they bring a well-rounded perspective and a deep appreciation for a variety of riding disciplines.
Her passion for horses and dedication to coaching shines through in every lesson.
Tayden Katay
Georgia Ball
Tayden has been around horses for most of her life but began taking lessons seriously about three years ago. She's passionate about barrel racing and has a deep appreciation for good horsemanship.
Tayden brings great energy to the ranch, always eager to help riders grow and have fun. She owns three horses—including the cutest pony named Butterscotch—who keep her busy and inspired every day.
